My brother Randall and I, Kevin, have been car enthusiasts for as long as we can remember. Growing up, we spent countless hours under the hoods of our father’s cars, learning the fundamentals of mechanics from a young age. That shared passion shaped our lives and careers in unique but complementary ways.

I joined the Army and became a mechanic, eventually specializing in customizing vehicles for special forces operators. Over time, my interest expanded beyond mechanics to include detailing, where I discovered how precision and attention to detail could elevate any vehicle. Randall, on the other hand, pursued a different path by joining the Navy as an aircraft mechanic. While serving, he attended community college in Virginia Beach to study automotive science, where his love for building, fabricating, and creating something new took root.

Before starting Resolute Detailing, we worked in various auto and detailing shops, gaining invaluable experience. During that time, we noticed a gap in the industry—customers wanted more than just a service; they wanted genuine value, quality work, and honest guidance. That realization inspired us to create Resolute Detailing, a company built on trust, quality, and education.

With over 20 years of combined experience in the auto industry, Randall and I have honed our skills through various roles, including working as XPEL Paint Protection Film installers for a family friend. We’ve worked on everything from high-end sports cars to everyday vehicles. Striking out on our own, we set out to create a professional yet family-friendly environment where customers could trust their vehicles would receive exceptional care.
